Privacy
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information CamsAhead collects through the Service described in the Terms of Use, how it is used, who receives it, how long it is kept and what choices you have. In this policy, "CamsAhead" means the person or company that runs CamsAhead today. CamsAhead is run by Lattice Row LLC. This policy was last updated on November 5, 2026 and does not cover third-party sites that the Service links to. The pages under CamsAhead.com/plus/ have their own privacy notice, which covers them instead of this one.
Contents ↑2. Data minimization
CamsAhead collects only what a feature you choose needs. It has no accounts, does not ask for your name except on the data request form, does not store your IP address, does not build profiles about you, and does not sell or share personal information. Most features work entirely in your browser. The sections below list, feature by feature, what CamsAhead and its providers receive.
Contents ↑3. What CamsAhead collects, feature by feature
Visiting the site
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the Service and delivers it through its network. When your browser requests a page or file, Cloudflare receives your IP address and standard request information, such as the address requested, the referring page, your browser type and the time. Cloudflare uses it to deliver the Service and to protect it from attacks and abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. CamsAhead's own code does not store your IP address. CamsAhead's server functions, such as alert sign-ups and push settings, write error and operations logs that contain no IP address, and Cloudflare keeps them for up to seven days.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It sets two cookies on this site. Google uses your IP address briefly to estimate a city and doesn't store it.
Google Analytics runs only on the public site, and only after a page has finished loading. CamsAhead loads it with Google's consent mode set to allow analytics storage and to deny all advertising storage, and with Google signals and ad personalization turned off. It sets two cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code. They hold a random ID and visit times that let Google tell a returning browser from a new one and group the pages of one visit. They expire two years after your last visit unless you clear them. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage stays denied, so Google Analytics sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device there. When it runs, Google receives the address of the page you view, without any query string or map position; the page title; the address of the page that linked you there, without its query string; your browser, device type, screen size and language; how long the page was in view; and an approximate location, such as a city, that Google derives from your IP address. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
CamsAhead also sends named events about how the map and app are used. Examples are opening a camera (its type, and whether it was opened from the map, a list, a search or a link), sharing a page, changing a filter or layer, the result of Near me (found, denied, failed or timed out), the start of Drive (the camera types and alert distance chosen), the end of Drive (the reason and the number of minutes it ran) and an alert sign-up (email or push). Events never carry coordinates, search text, place names or email addresses. Google processes this information for CamsAhead under Google's terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
CamsAhead also counts visits itself, with no cookies and no IP address. When a page opens, your browser tells CamsAhead's server which page it is, without any query string or map position. On the first page of a visit, it also sends the name of the site that linked you there, but not the page.
That first page also sends whether your browser window is phone, tablet or desktop width, and whether you use the light or dark theme. It also says whether the page opened in the installed CamsAhead app or in a browser. To tell a visit from the next page of the same visit, your browser keeps today's date in this tab's session storage. A new tab or a new day starts a new visit.
For that first page, CamsAhead's server also notes the country and state or region that Cloudflare estimates from your connection, such as California. It adds them to the day's totals. It never stores your IP address, and it does not note your city.
If the visit opens a shared link, that first page also sends which share button was used, such as WhatsApp or Copy link. The code is the same for everyone and is then removed from the address bar.
When you leave a page or switch tabs, your browser sends how many seconds the page was in view, up to half an hour.
While a page is in view, your browser also sends a short "still here" signal once every five minutes, with the page's path. CamsAhead counts these signals and the page views in five-minute blocks, to see how many pages are open right now. These counts are deleted within four days.
CamsAhead also counts some actions by name only: the interactive map loading on a page (on its own or when you tap it), touching the map on a page, tapping a camera on it, opening a camera, starting Drive, signing up for alerts, sharing, searching for an address, using Near me and sending a camera report. It also counts the steps to add CamsAhead to your Home Screen: opening the steps, saying yes to your browser's install prompt, and the install itself. These counts carry nothing else.
This tab's session storage also keeps the kind of page the visit started on, such as the map. It holds the steps the visit has reached too: touching the map on a page, tapping a camera on it, reaching the full map and which button took you there, the interactive map loading, opening a camera or Drive, using Near me, an alert sign-up, a share or a search. Only the tab keeps them; the server adds each new step, by the kind of page the visit started on, and the second page's kind to the day's totals.
When Drive stops, it sends one short summary. It says whether you drove on your own or followed a route, and gives the distance, rounded to half a mile, and the minutes driven. It also has the number of cameras passed by type, alerts played and reports made, and for a route, its metro area.
The summary never holds your position, your route, or where you started or stopped. CamsAhead's server adds each of these to totals and does not keep the events themselves. The totals never hold your IP address, a scrambled form of it, your browser type or any code that tells one visitor from another.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, Google Analytics does not load at all, and CamsAhead's own visit counter sends nothing.
The server limits repeated requests with the same scrambled counter as the forms, deleted within 48 hours. The daily totals are kept for thirteen months, then deleted. Only CamsAhead sees them.
Your location: Near me, "Use my location" and the map
CamsAhead never receives your position. When you tap Near me or "Use my location", your browser asks for your permission and then gives your position to the page on your device. The page uses it there to sort lists, center the map or set a place. It does not send your position to CamsAhead or to analytics.
- Map tiles. The map's background comes from OpenFreeMap or, for other map looks, from the U.S. Geological Survey, the Terrain Tiles hosted by Amazon Web Services, or NASA. Your browser downloads the tiles for the area on screen, so that provider receives your IP address and the area your map shows, as with any online map. When Near me or Drive centers the map on you, that area is around your position. See OpenFreeMap's privacy policy.
- Map links. The map keeps its view in the page address. After Near me, that view is rounded to about 0.7 miles, and a link you share opens on your area, rounded the same way, never on your exact position. If you switch on "Share exact spot" when you share, the link also carries the exact center of your Near me circle and its radius, and the picture shows your spot. Anyone who has a link can see what it carries.
- Places you save for alerts. If you choose to save a place for alerts, CamsAhead receives that place as described under Email alert sign-ups and Push notifications.
Drive
Drive reads your position on your device while it runs, and compares it with the camera list that your device downloaded from CamsAhead. Your position and the roads you drive are not sent to CamsAhead and are not stored. When you open Drive and your browser already lets CamsAhead use your location, Drive also reads your position once before you tap Start, to check whether Drive works where you are. That reading is not sent to CamsAhead and is not stored; your device downloads only the place list for that wide area. "Your drive" on the map is not the same: it sends two spots you tap, as described under Your drive on the map. If you tap Report, Drive saves that spot and your direction of travel on your device for up to 7 days; they are sent only if you finish and send the report, as the camera's location. Drive keeps its settings (which camera types alert, how each one sounds, and the alert distance), a note of your first drive, and your acceptance of the Drive terms (the Terms version and the time you accepted), all on your device and never sent to CamsAhead. If Google Analytics runs, it receives the Drive start and end events described above, which carry no location. When Drive stops, CamsAhead's own visit counter receives the short summary described under Analytics, which never holds your position or your route. If the map is on screen, it follows your position, so the map tile provider receives requests for the tiles along your way, as described above.
Your drive on the map
On the full map, "Your drive" shows the cameras on a drive between two spots you tap. To draw it, CamsAhead's server sends those two spots to a route service. It rounds each spot to about 360 feet (about a city block) first.
That service is openrouteservice, run by HeiGIT gGmbH in Germany. HeiGIT gets only the two spots, not your IP address. CamsAhead does not store the spots or put them in any log.
Your position is never sent.
Address search
Searches for cities, neighborhoods, ZIP codes, streets and camera IDs run on your device. Your browser downloads parts of a search index from CamsAhead, chosen by the first letters of the words you type, and ranks the results itself. When what you type looks like a street address, or matches few places in that index, the text is also sent from your browser to Photon, an address search service run by komoot GmbH in Germany, together with a point for the area of the page you are on (never your position) so that nearby results come first. On the map, the point is the middle of the area your map shows, rounded to about 10 km, and none is sent once you have used Near me or Drive. Photon receives your IP address with that request; see komoot's privacy policy. CamsAhead does not store what you type. Your last five picks are saved on your device as recent searches.
Email alert sign-ups and "Monitor this place"
When you sign up for email alerts, CamsAhead stores:
- your email address;
- the notice under Get alerts, recorded as its version and a hash of its wording, and the Terms of Use version you accepted;
- the place you chose: an area, such as a neighborhood, or a point rounded to about 0.7 miles, with the alert radius you picked. If you turn on "Use my exact spot" for an address you searched or a pin you placed, CamsAhead keeps that spot rounded to about 35 feet, marked as your choice. It is used only to send your alerts. Near me is always rounded;
- if you sign up on the alerts page, a short name for each place there: "Home", "Work" or "School" as the page fills them in, or a name you type instead. These names label your places in the emails CamsAhead sends you and are deleted with your sign-up;
- the camera types you picked;
- the name of the place the page was about;
- the time you signed up and the time of your last change;
- the days CamsAhead sent you an alert email, deleted once they are 40 days old; and
- what the confirmation needs: when it was asked for, sent and done; one-way hashes (never the codes themselves) of the code in your confirmation link, of the code in each email's unsubscribe link, and of the code that lets the page you signed up on ask for the email again; and new choices waiting for you to confirm them.
If you sign up again with the same email, CamsAhead adds the new places to the ones you saved (up to 10, the newest first) and the new camera types, updates the time, records the Terms version you accepted last, and keeps your first consent record. CamsAhead does not record your device type, the page you signed up on or any campaign tags with your sign-up. CamsAhead emails you a link to confirm your address, then a welcome email. After that, CamsAhead emails you only about the places and camera types you picked, as the next section explains.
Confirmation and alert emails
It works like this:
- Confirm first. After you sign up, CamsAhead emails you one link to confirm your address. It opens a page with a Confirm button, and until you tap it, you get no alerts. Each link works for 48 hours, and the links in your three newest emails all work until you sign up again with a confirmed address. If your sign-up isn't confirmed within 7 days of your last request, CamsAhead deletes it.
- Changes wait for you. If someone signs up again with an address that is already confirmed, nothing changes until the link in the new email is confirmed. If it isn't confirmed within 48 hours, the new choices are deleted.
- What is sent. After you confirm, one welcome email lists your places and camera types. After that, CamsAhead sends one summary email a month, in its first week: each place's name, the cameras added or dated near it, how many are on the map there and a link to the map there. To stay within a daily sending limit, an email can wait a few days.
- Unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and mail apps can show their own Unsubscribe button. Unsubscribing deletes your sign-up.
- Who delivers it. CamsAhead sends email through Resend, a service of Plus Five Five, Inc. in the United States. Resend receives your email address and each message, and handles them under Resend's privacy policy.
- No tracking. The pictures in the emails come inside the email itself, so opening one loads nothing from the internet. The emails have no tracking pixel and no tracked links, so they don't tell CamsAhead when you open them or what you click.
Spam protection
The sign-up, camera report, feedback, data request and Data Center Intelligence access forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile runs a short check in your browser when you start filling in a form, and CamsAhead sends your IP address to Cloudflare to confirm the result; see Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum. CamsAhead does not keep your IP address. To limit repeated requests, CamsAhead keeps a scrambled counter that changes every day and is deleted within 48 hours: a one-way hash of your network address combined with the date and a secret key, which cannot be turned back into your address without that key.
Push notifications
If you install the CamsAhead app and turn on notifications in My alerts, CamsAhead stores:
- your browser's push subscription: a web address at your browser's push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft) and the two keys that encrypt messages to it;
- your saved places, each as an area or a point rounded to about 0.7 miles, never finer, with its radius (the names you give places in My alerts stay on your device);
- the camera types you picked;
- the version of the opt-in wording you saw and of the Terms of Use you accepted; and
- the times you turned notifications on or changed them, and delivery counts once sending starts.
No email address is attached to a push subscription. No notifications are sent yet. When sending starts, notifications pass through your browser's push service. Turning notifications off in My alerts deletes your subscription from CamsAhead.
Saved on your device only
Some features keep information in your browser's storage, never on CamsAhead's servers: your theme choice, your map settings and map look, your last five search picks, your saved places with their names, your alert camera types, your Drive settings, your acceptance of the Drive terms (the Terms version and the time), a note of your first drive and of when an install tip was last shown, the camera reports waiting to be sent, the numbers of the reports you sent, Drive reports you have not finished, the random code that counts your reports, and offline copies of pages, map styles and data. The visit counter keeps today's date, the kind of page the visit started on and the steps it reached, in this tab only. The feedback form keeps the last five pages you opened, also in this tab only. CamsAhead receives your saved places and camera types only if you turn on push notifications or sign up for email alerts, as described above. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes all of it.
Contacting CamsAhead
If you email CamsAhead, it receives your email address, your message and anything you attach. CamsAhead uses them to reply and to fix data. When a correction changes the data, the change is logged with its date, never with your name.
If you send feedback with the form on the site, your message and the page you name are emailed to CamsAhead, with your email address only if you add it. Before you send, the form lists what else goes with your message, and "Leave these out" sends none of it. It names the last five pages you opened on the site in that tab, kept in this tab's session storage for the form only. It also names your type of device, system and browser, your screen size, light or dark mode, and whether you use the installed app. On the map, it adds the map's view, camera types and colors. Last come the site version and the country and region that Cloudflare estimates from your connection, never your IP address. CamsAhead's servers keep your message and what was sent with it for 180 days so CamsAhead can read and answer it, then delete it. The emailed copy is kept as long as needed to answer it. Neither is sold or shared.
If you ask for data with the form on the Camera database page, your name, your organization if you add one, your email address and what the data is for are emailed to CamsAhead, which replies by email. CamsAhead's servers keep the request for 180 days so CamsAhead can read and answer it, then delete it. The emailed copy is kept as long as needed to answer it. Neither is sold or shared.
If you ask for Data Center Intelligence access with the form on its access page, CamsAhead keeps your email address, your company if you add one, the state and counties you pick, whether you add the API or ask for an invoice, when you sent it and which version of the notice beside the button you saw. It uses them to hold your founding seat and to contact you about access, and deletes them 24 months after your last request.
Camera reports
A camera report includes the camera's location, its type, your answers about it (such as its direction, "Run by: store or business", or what is wrong with a mapped camera), an optional note, the version of the Terms of Use you accepted and the time. The report also records the Terms line shown under the send button, by its version and a hash of its wording. The location is the camera's spot, where you place the pin, stored to about 4 feet, the precision of a camera’s spot. It is the camera's location by design, not a record of where you are, even when "Use my location" places the pin. CamsAhead does not store your IP address, your device type or the page you came from. To count reports from different devices, your browser makes a random code and sends only a scrambled form of it, which CamsAhead scrambles again with a secret key; it is not linked to your name or your IP address, and it sits next to an email address only on a report where you ask for updates. The same scrambled spam counter applies. An email address is collected only if you ask for updates, with the wording you saw, and is kept until the report closes; nothing is emailed yet. A report appears on the public map as a community pin with a count of reports, rounded to about 35 feet and dated by day, and never shows your name, email address, note or device code. The camera's spot, type and direction from a report may also be shared openly under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0, for example with OpenStreetMap, with the spot rounded to about 35 feet as on the public map. Your note, photo, email address and device code are never shared this way. Anyone with a report's number can see the kind of report, the camera type, and its status and dates. If it is part of a community pin, they also see the pin's number, its count of reports and whether it shows on the map. Nothing else is shown, and a link to a report carries only that number. A photo, if you add one, is seen only by CamsAhead's reviewers and is never published; location data (EXIF) is removed on your device before it is sent, and the photo is deleted within 30 days.
"Is it there?" answers
You can answer "Is it there?" about a community pin you are near on foot, or about a mapped camera when you look over a Drive report once you’re parked or as a passenger. CamsAhead stores the camera, your answer, whether you answered on foot or from Drive, and the date at the camera. Your phone checks that you are near the camera; CamsAhead receives the camera's mapped spot, not yours, and does not store the time of day. Because the question shows only near a camera, an answer means someone was near that camera that day. To count one answer per phone, your browser sends a scrambled form of the random code that counts your reports, and CamsAhead scrambles it again with the camera and a secret key. That stored code is different for each camera, so your answers about different cameras do not share a code, but it is the same as the code on a report you sent about that camera. Like a camera report, an answer records the Terms version and the line you saw, and it uses Turnstile and the same scrambled spam counter. After thirteen months, answers are kept only as daily counts with no code. If a community pin is dropped, its answers are deleted. A camera's history on the map shows days and counts only, never who answered or the time of day.
Links and third-party content
Street View links open Google's site, which then receives your request. A traffic camera’s picture loads straight from Caltrans, which receives your IP address with that request; CamsAhead does not copy or store the image. When a camera's panel shows a traffic image from Austin, it loads straight from that agency's server: cctv.austinmobility.io. That server receives your IP address with the request, and CamsAhead does not copy or store the image. When a camera's picture shows (its sheet, Live, or Show picture) or you play its video or clip, it loads straight from that agency's server: Ontario Ministry of Transportation (Ontario 511) at 511on.ca; Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration) at api.trafikinfo.trafikverket.se; Métropole de Lyon (Criter) at download.data.grandlyon.com; City of Toronto, Transportation Services at opendata.toronto.ca; Transport for London (pictures and clips) at s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com; Transport Department, HKSAR Government at tdcctv.data.one.gov.hk; City of Calgary, Mobility at trafficcam.calgary.ca; ODOT TripCheck at tripcheck.com and www.tripcheck.com; Fintraffic Road, for the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency at weathercam.digitraffic.fi; Ohio Department of Transportation (OHGO) at itscameras.dot.state.oh.us; and Caltrans (video) at wzmedia.dot.ca.gov. That server receives your IP address with the request, and CamsAhead does not copy or store the picture, video or clip. Pictures from agencies in Europe and the UK load only after you tap. On the map, one tap lets that agency's other pictures load too until you leave the map; nothing is sent to it before your first tap. Links to other agencies' camera views open their own sites. Share buttons open the network you choose, and the "© OpenStreetMap contributors" credit opens OpenStreetMap. These services handle your information under their own policies.
Contents ↑4. How CamsAhead uses information
CamsAhead uses personal information only to:
- provide the features you choose, such as storing your alert places and camera types and sending the alerts you asked for;
- stop spam, abuse and attacks, and keep the Service secure;
- count visits and see which features are used, so that CamsAhead can fix and improve the Service;
- answer your messages and correct data; and
- comply with the law and enforce the Terms of Use.
CamsAhead does not use personal information for targeted advertising, does not build profiles about you, and does not make decisions about you by automated means.
Contents ↑5. Legal bases
Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, CamsAhead relies on your consent for alert sign-ups, push notifications and location permission; on providing the Service you asked for, for features you use; on its legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and understanding how the Service is used, for hosting, spam protection and analytics, which you can switch off with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track; and on legal obligations where they apply. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as the section on your choices and rights explains.
Contents ↑6. Who receives information
- Service providers. Cloudflare hosts the Service, stores the sign-up, push, camera report and message databases, keeps server logs and runs Turnstile. Google provides analytics. HeiGIT draws the route for "Your drive" on the map, as described under Your drive on the map. Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers CamsAhead's emails, as described under Confirmation and alert emails. Service providers may use the information only to provide their services to CamsAhead, except where their own terms allow limited uses, such as Cloudflare's use of Turnstile signals to improve bot detection.
- Push services. Once sending starts, notifications pass through the push service of your browser: Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft.
- Services your browser contacts directly. When you use a feature that needs them, your browser contacts OpenFreeMap, the U.S. Geological Survey, Amazon Web Services or NASA (map tiles), komoot's Photon (address search) and the other services named above. They receive your IP address and the request.
- Legal requirements. CamsAhead discloses personal information to government authorities only when it believes in good faith that the law requires it, such as in response to valid legal process. CamsAhead does not give personal information to camera vendors, camera operators or agencies for any other reason.
- Business transfers. If CamsAhead is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, personal information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy for the information it receives.
- With your consent. CamsAhead shares personal information in other ways only if you ask it to.
7. No sale, no sharing, no targeted advertising
Through the pages this policy covers, CamsAhead does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms, and has not done so in the past twelve months. CamsAhead does not use personal information for targeted advertising. CamsAhead does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing (California Civil Code §1798.83).
Contents ↑8. Sensitive information
CamsAhead does not ask for sensitive information. One item can count as sensitive under California law: if you save a point, rather than an area, for alerts, the point can count as precise geolocation, which California law defines as a location within a circle with a radius of 1,850 feet. That is so for a rounded point, and always for an exact spot you choose with "Use my exact spot". CamsAhead uses it only to provide the alerts you asked for, and not to infer anything about you.
Contents ↑9. Cookies and similar technologies
CamsAhead's own code sets no cookies for visitors. Its private analytics page, which only CamsAhead uses, sets one sign-in cookie. Google Analytics sets two cookies that expire two years after your last visit, and none in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, as described under Analytics. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it checks for bots or attacks; see Cloudflare's cookie policy. The Service also uses your browser's storage and an offline cache, which stay on your device, as described under Saved on your device only. You can delete them by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Contents ↑10. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
CamsAhead honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends either signal, Google Analytics does not load at all and CamsAhead's own visit counter sends nothing: no analytics request is made for that page. Because CamsAhead does not sell or share personal information, there is nothing else for the signal to switch off. Every other feature works the same. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
CamsAhead uses no ad networks, social media plug-ins or advertising cookies. When you use the Service, Google (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and Turnstile) and the map, search and image services your browser contacts receive the information this policy describes, and each handles it under its own policy. CamsAhead runs Google Analytics with two cookies (none in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), with Google's ad features turned off. CamsAhead does not control what these companies collect on other websites.
Contents ↑11. How long information is kept
- Email alert sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask CamsAhead to delete yours, or until CamsAhead closes its alert list. A sign-up that isn't confirmed within 7 days is deleted.
- The days an alert email was sent: deleted once they are 40 days old, and with your sign-up.
- Push subscriptions: until you turn notifications off in My alerts or ask CamsAhead to delete yours. Once sending starts, a subscription is also deleted when your browser's push service reports that it has ended.
- Spam counter: deleted within 48 hours.
- Server logs: up to seven days. They contain no IP address.
- Analytics: Google keeps event data for no more than fourteen months. Reports built from it are aggregated and do not identify you. CamsAhead's own daily totals are kept for thirteen months, then deleted. Its five-minute counts are deleted within four days.
- Emails to CamsAhead: as long as needed to answer and to keep a record of the corrections they led to.
- Feedback and data requests sent with the site's forms: 180 days on CamsAhead's servers, then deleted; the emailed copy as long as needed to answer it.
- Camera reports: for as long as the report is on the map or under review. If its camera is added to the map's data, the report is kept as that camera's record. Photos are deleted within 30 days. An email address sent with a report is kept until the report closes.
- Answers to "Is it there?": kept with their scrambled device code for up to thirteen months, then only as a count of answers for that camera and day, with no device code. These counts are kept as the camera's history. When CamsAhead removes a reported pin, its answers and counts are deleted within two days.
- Information on your device: until you delete it.
12. Your choices and rights
You can use these rights wherever you live:
- Know and access: ask what personal information CamsAhead holds about you, and get a copy.
- Delete: ask CamsAhead to delete it.
- Correct: ask CamsAhead to correct it.
- Opt out: CamsAhead does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track switch off analytics.
- Withdraw consent: turn notifications off in My alerts, tap Unsubscribe in any CamsAhead email, or ask CamsAhead to delete your sign-up.
California rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (California Civil Code §1798.100 and following) gives you these rights against the businesses it covers: to know what personal information is collected, used and disclosed, to access it, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. CamsAhead does not sell or share personal information, and uses sensitive personal information only to provide the Service, so the opt-out and limit rights need no action. CamsAhead will not discriminate against you for using any of these rights. CamsAhead honors these rights for every user, whether or not that law applies to it.
How to make a request
Email hello@camsahead.com from the address you signed up with. CamsAhead verifies a request by confirming that you control the email address of the sign-up. CamsAhead cannot link a push subscription to you, so to delete one, turn notifications off in My alerts on the device that has them. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission, and CamsAhead may ask you to confirm your identity directly. CamsAhead confirms a request within ten business days and answers it within forty-five calendar days. If it needs more time, it will tell you why, and it may take up to another forty-five days.
Contents ↑13. Children
The Service is not directed to children under thirteen, and CamsAhead does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under thirteen has given CamsAhead personal information, contact CamsAhead and it will delete it. CamsAhead does not sell or share the personal information of anyone, including people under sixteen.
Contents ↑14. Security
CamsAhead uses encrypted connections for every page and request, keeps network addresses only as scrambled counters, limits who can reach its databases, and collects as little as it can.
