License plate readers
Plate reader data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0.
The copy is from November 7, 2026, with the objects tagged surveillance:type=ALPR. Its plate reader tables, files and change log are Derivative Databases under the same license. They leave out OSM user names and IDs.
Some pages name agencies that use plate readers. Those names come from the Atlas of Surveillance (CC BY 4.0), data as of August 2026.

CamsAhead kept the plate reader rows only, once each.
Who shares plate-reader data with whom comes from EyesOnFlock. It copied the lists agencies post on their Flock transparency portals, most as of October 14, 2026 and a few earlier. CamsAhead copied them on Nov 7, 2026, under CC BY-SA 4.0. CamsAhead joined the lists, cleaned the names and added places from the US Census Bureau. Those files (/data/network/) use the same license. Private groups show by type, never by name. On the site: who shares with whom.
